Circles USA takes precautions to protect your information. The security of your information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as Circles Leader data), that information is encrypted and transmitted automatically through a secure connection (HTTPS). You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the top left of your web browser or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, analyzing data, consulting with a chapter, or specific customer service functions in order to respond to a chapter’s specific request) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment and go through commercially acceptable means to maintain the integrity of the information we collect. The company has implemented physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, and destruction.
SHARING
We share aggregated demographic information with our funders and partners. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person or chapter.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer's hard drive.
Like many sites, we use "cookies" to collect information. However, they are removed when the users log out of the database. Most browsers have cookies enabled by default. Circles USA reserves the right to make changes to our privacy policy and data practices. This privacy policy is effective as of 03/18/2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future. Should any changes be made, an announcement will be shared with the network and it will be updated in this guide and on the Circles database.
